Truth... nothing but the truth.

First off, I'm sorry this is late in posting. Between some family matters and a seemingly endless hockey tournament (I was at the arena for seven hours for three days!!!!) I wasn't able to get back to the fun little contest. But in the spirit of truth over lies, here's how it pans out.

1. I'm a history buff.... LIE! Actually, I much prefer the future. Give me some sci-fi anytime. I do like the medieval period, but certainly far from a buff, lol.

2. I'm a closet video game junkie.... TRUE!!! While I don't have much time to actually play, I won't even admit to the number of hours I spend watching others battle through those epic games... Halo, Gears of War, World at War, and don't forget Rockband!!

3. I was in the military.... TRUE!!! Yes, this is something I don't broadcast too often. Let's just say I was young and, well, yeah, I was young.

4. I've never broken a bone. FALSE!!! I've actually broken a few... ankle, foot, hand, thumb, finger.... no I'm not accident prone or uncoordinated, I'm just active.

5. I've been married twice. FALSE!!! OMG... once is still killing me, giggle. No really, honey, I love being married... really.

6. I've never travelled outside North America.... FALSE!!! Actually, it's nearly true. I've only been to Central America—Costa Rica— so it was a close third, lol.

7. I love shopping. FALSE with a capital F!!! I hate hate hate shopping, especially for clothes. Can't we all just go naked? Okay, that might not be a great idea, but that's how much I loathe shopping.

Thanks to those who played. Genella, you were the only right answer. I'll try to send off an email to you, but it you don't get it, when you visit back let me know which book you'd like from my list and I'll send it away.

I Swear to Tell the Truth... well mostly.

Yes, I've been tagged, twice now. While I haven't had a chance to make my book boyfriend yet... and yes I will... I'm coming out from under my rock to see if you can tell what's true and what's fiction.

Here's how it works. I'll list seven facts about me. Two are true and the others, well, let's just say I wish they were true. And I'm not going to pick anything that's just been out in the author spotlight on TEB... way too easy. So no, 'I know how to fly helicopters' on this one, which would be true...You pick out which ones you think are true and leave me a comment. I'll give away a free copy of one of my books to the lucky winner, which I will have my trusty children draw on Friday. So here goes...

1. I'm a history buff... the older the better.

2. I'm a video game closet junkie... love me some Gears of War.

3. I was in the military.

4. I've never broken a bone.

5. I've been married twice.

6. I've never travelled outside North America.

7. I love shopping.

Sheesh, that was harder than I thought it'd be. Okay, go ahead and give it your best shot.
Thanks for dropping by and thanks to Bronwyn and Jude for tagging me.

If you'd like to get in on more action, visit some friends and you might get lucky and win some more books.

I'm in the Spotlight...and I got new Cover Art!!

Hey all.

I'm thrilled to announce that I'm in TEB's Author Spotlight this month. You can find out all sorts of crazy tidbits about me and my writing style. Just jump on over to TEB's Author Spotlight page and have a gander. There are some pictures of my office (if you can call it that) and my visions of the perfect man. I hope to see you over there.

In other news, I got the final cover for my erotic thriller novel, Hard Target, coming out in November with Resplendence Publishing. I know it's a bit of a ways, away, but it's so perfect, I had to show it off. I just love the way Les designed all the little aspects of this cover. From the sexy couple right down to the bullseye on the front... and how he has the font changing colour... he Rocks!!!

I have to say, I've been so lucky with cover art. All my titles from TEB have been fabulous and the ones from RP totally blow me away. Thanks to Chel, Les, Lyn, Natalie. and April... you are all more talented than we mere authors deserve. Thanks for your patience and for making our covers look incredible. After all, a great cover is half the way to selling a book.
